Close encounters of a teak kind
I met a really cool Pyrex collector in Hamilton via Kijiji (Canada's answer to Craig's List - but with much better layout) - named Kim. She figured out who I was through this here blog. Talk about a close knit thrifting community! She sold me this cool Barbed Wire divided dish. I've always wanted this pattern. Now I'm on the lookout for a clear divided dish lid.I met another Pyrex lover through Kijiji who lives in Mississauga. She was kind enough to meet me at a GO train stop and sell me a few pieces, including Golden Hearts. Again, I need a lid, but the day will come. It's funny buying Pyrex in a parking lot in West-end Toronto, but at least I'm not buying crack in a drunken stupor.
Thanks Kim!
